Though I think they did remove the running at a high speed cause there was no need for Lara to run really fast on Anniversary.

If you played the game on your PC, original PlayStation or even Sega Saturn you would know that the graphics aren't up to par with today's standards since everyone has drenched themselves in the HD experience and some with the whole 3D gaming which to me is a huge waste of money.

Then you would find the first Tomb Raider to be horrible! But who would of thought they would remake the first Tomb Raider game and making Lara look sexy and hot and not ugly and with those horrible triangle boobs lol The music has changed but it still sounds the same but updated. Voice actress has changed but it's still the same chick who did Legend which is a plus cause I hate when they constantly change voices for Lara.

The PS2 version was ok, they did made one for the 360 which was better in graphics with HD and 5.1 surround sound but PS2 lacked a lot of those features so it was scaled down to SD but if you had your PS2 hooked up to a Progressive Scan TV then you could play the game with a bit more clarity. Wasn't much difference in detail and the Widescreen feature was lacking a bit.

The storyline is also the same but in the original game I thought there was Larson and the three dudes then Natlia but in the remake there are only two dudes and Larson. So where did her Magnum guns go? You get your weapons from the Skater dude, the big scary dude and Larson but the magnums are no where to be seen I kind of shook my head in confusion with that. Oh yeah if you care to watch a video of me playing Tomb Raider Anniversary for an hour then feel free to check it out below. I managed to upload videos from my Justin.tv broadcast so expect future updated entries of game play footage from me playing on Justin.tv. :)

I really did enjoy it on PS2 but then when I seen that recently they came out with a PS3 version of it along with trophies, HD and Legend and Underworld I was set so I bought Tomb Raider Trilogy. Sadly people complained that you didn't get the Anniversary DLC that came with the 360 version people felt cheated. Well PS3 users did get a extra bonus since it was ONLY for PS3 and not 360.

The graphics for the PS3 look really good especially in 1080p, the sound is also Dolby Digital 5.1, only complaint I had with it was that the sound was WAY too loud it almost seemed like it was sound boosting and I barely had my receiver up all the way. I think Sony should continue releasing classic PS2 games but I think they only do it for trilogies like Tomb Raider, but then they also do like games that were popular on the PS2 but they try to change textures and make it widescreen. I think it's just another excuse for people to buy the same games with nothing new unless you care for getting easy trophies since the PS2 never had trophies.

The Tomb Raider games will always be a favorite just wish that they would remake a few Resident Evil games for the PS3 and 360.

Classic Gaming - D2 - Sega Dreamcast

This game was a real big time favorite on the Dreamcast, so many people NEVER played the original D so when they played this game they were like "OH MY GOD the original D sucks compared to this game" indeed it was true. D2 was light years more improved and different than it's original on the PlayStation, Saturn and PC.

Since this was ONLY released on the Sega Dreamcast nobody really had the chance to play it except for those who owned a Dreamcast, sadly the system didn't last for very long and copies of this game were VERY limited in the U.S.

I got my hands on a copy from a person off Amazon used. It was like $17.99 for what the person was offering, hardly any scratches on the game I've had it for so long and decided to play it and record some game footage. 22 minutes worth of game footage :) But it's mostly just the opening movie and some of the opening parts of the game. I haven't played it in so long I totally forgot how to play it lol

I will tell you the reason why some people would prefer this game over the first D game. It's because the first D game was done with almost 96% FMV, and the only things that you had to do was push directional buttons, open doors, turn cranks and that was pretty much it. There was no save feature for D, you had to pretty much play the game ALL the way through and without a guide on how to beat the game you might eventually be playing this for quite some time. I do have a small guide for the turning room which was a bitch if you didn't know how many times to turn the room.

D2 was so many miles ahead of D. The only FMV cut scenes you would see are during the beginning and ending. Most of it was all in game stuff, also it gave you the chance of going in first person and third person mode. I never was able to finish the game I guess it was busy I just got tired of playing it and the monsters kicked my ass majorly, playing a lot of PlayStation 3 and then degrading to Dreamcast is just weird for my hands especially when handling the Dreamcast controller.

We never did see a D3 come out, though during the process of D2 there was a totally different type of game but they later scraped it, I believe it was suppose to come out for 3DO but it never was released it looked scary too.

PlayStation should totally release D and D2 on PSN Store cause it would benefit so many people, but at the same time you're probably looking at almost 4GB download for D2 cause it was spread on almost 4 discs which was insane cause D2 was on 3 discs for the PlayStation.

I still can't manage to find D Original Soundtrack, would of been nice to find it if people still have their copy of D Director's Cut and the mini CD that came with it. I was thinking of making a D Complete Soundtrack and adding in one or two bonus tracks from D2. Yet that's a project that will take a long time, same thing when I did Silent Hill 3 & Silent Hill 4 Complete Soundtracks, most people weren't even happy with the outcome. How sad, can't please everyone it seems. :(

Yakuza 3 - PlayStation 3

This game was on sale at Gamestop for like $16.99, thank god for that Game Saver card thingy. But I kept hearing this was a really good game. I took the chance, but hey it was a good investment I kept hearing it had elements similar to Shenmue which was an amazing game as well for the Sega Dreamcast. Sega can still make good games but it's system will live on!

So when I play the game I decided to get a fresh recap of what the previous two games were about, the best part is that I'm able to check out the storyline for the previous two games so I can be caught up. But you have to basically read a shit load of text to understand what's going on followed by cut scenes from the game.

After learning about the storyline you are left off just watching more cut scenes then you're finally in the game. I walked around the small area and I played some arcade games but sadly I couldn't play Virtua Fighter what gives? I would of loved to play it, maybe I need to beat the game or something?

From what the box says it's indeed ONLY on PlayStation 3 which is probably why you could fit a ton of shit on a Blu-Ray, 360 would probably compress the fuck out of it or put it on 4 DVD discs lol

Anyways the game is pretty fun, I like the storyline especially with the orphans you are taking care of, you get a chance to see the problems they face including one of the kids who is being bullied in school, not that the child is gay but it indeed happens to everyone including kids in Japan.

When you go into town you seem to find dickheads wanting to fight you, I think it was a total of 20 minutes and I ran into about 10 different gang members wanting to kick my ass it was like what the fuck? One of them says "blah blah blah I want to release my anger can we kick your ass?" Really if that's how it is in Japan I would need to bring a walking stick so I can beat the shit out of people walking up to me lol

After beating like a ton of people you are left with fighting bosses which you get a trophy for each boss you defeat which is now, but then there are like 40 other trophies that seem kind of hard as fuck to accomplish and I have yet to do it, the hard ones like the black jack and card games will be a bitch to get.

I've seen a few chubby looking guys on here as well, even older chubby guys, I wouldn't consider them bears but I am sure some would find them to be kind of bearish if you just add a beard or something instead of a mustache.

I'm actually quite hooked on the storyline and I'm hoping that there is still more story cause I think I played about 8 hours of the game so far, plus there are side stories and there is this cool thing where if you take pictures he will learn new moves and he posts it up on a blog I think it's calling revelations or some shit. It's quite cool, but then you have to press the correct buttons in order to take the picture, also need to learn the correct choice or else he'll send it and nothing happens.

The entire game is in Japanese, subtitles and all the other stuff the words are in English, but if you are going to look at a store or any of the signs in the town I hope you know Japanese cause I can't understand what is what.

Classic Gaming - Mortal Kombat Trilogy - PlayStation

At the time this game coming out I was excited to see what characters were in the game, from what I read you could play with characters from Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 even old characters like from Raiden and Kano from Mortal Kombat 1.

It even had stages from the older Mortal Kombat games. When I popped it in the character list was unlocked, I didn't know by pressing Select over Raiden or Kano you could switch from MK2 Raiden and MK1 Raiden and MK3 Kano and MK1 Kano.

You could even play Tournaments, and MK Two on Two Kombat which was only for two players but it was cool.

The bosses were also unlocked to and playable. Even had an easy way of unlocking cheats but there was not a whole lot of cheats out there. Mortal Kombat Trilogy lasted for a while until it was no longer a PS1 Exclusive it ended up coming out for Nintendo 64 and later on PC. The Nintendo 64 version didn't have the CD audio music but it gave people a new character. The graphics were also a bit dumbed down for Nintendo 64 as well which was normal since those N64 cartridges couldn't hold a large amount of data.

Seems that Mortal Kombat Trilogy was the last good Mortal Kombat game, then when they released Mortal Kombat 4 it all went down hill, not many people enjoyed the 3D aspect of Mortal Kombat but later people pulled out modded programs MUGEN which used Mortal Kombat's old engine which was fun since you could make new levels, create new fatalities and added your own music. Also add characters from other games to the mix as well. I wish a there were a few things they could of added to Mortal Kombat Trilogy but you can't do much when you are working with a CD with only a certain amount of information on it.

The audio on some of the levels were completely wrong this was probably due to not being able to fit more audio tracks into the disc so levels used MKII's or MK3's music especially the MK levels which went through a make over by taking out the old Shang Tsung sitting on his throne in the courtyard and putting Shao Kahn sitting there. I am sure if they were to release it again on the Next Gen consoles they would keep it all HD and make it look way better than the stuff on PlayStation One. Release it on both PS3 and 360, would get a lot of people buying it.

Classic Gaming - Mortal Kombat 3 - PlayStation

When my brother got himself a PlayStation back in the mid 90's I was excited when I went to Blockbuster and saw this in the PlayStation section since there were only a few games released for it. I rented it took it to my brother's apartment popped it in. I was shocked to see it was just like the arcade, even had the music MK3 on the SNES never looked like this.

The game even had still pictures and the storyline which tells you about what you missed between MKII and MK3. It even opens up with that classic Raiden picture. I dug into the game and it felt so like the arcade even having that Cemetery level which was not on the SNES version. I always wondered why they never included it.

During the 90's load times were a regular thing for disc based games like PlayStation and Saturn it would take around 10 to 15 seconds to load even longer if the disc was damaged or scratched. Also depending on how old your PlayStation is the game would probably even load during fatalities just so it can process the data.

The arcade version never had this problem since it was just a single ROM being played but the music was compressed a bit and so it didn't sound as clear as the PS1's version of MK3.

The game does tend to get harder when you're fighting some of the bigger guys like the bosses. I can never be able to beat them without cheating. I guess when it comes to it the games are arcade like feel but the computer still cheats like a son of a bitch

Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City

If you managed to get super tired of Grand Theft Auto IV, then probably the next GTA game would be to buy is Episodes From Liberty City two games for the price of one is always a good deal. These were the DLC that the Xbox 360 managed to have first on its system until Rockstar put them on the PC and the PS3. The Lost and Damned was the first DLC than followed by The Ballad of Gay Tony.

The Lost and Damned is a great game giving you the ability to try out new guns, probably a few new cars, and a whole lot of new music added to the radio stations. Some people have already become tired of Liberty City nothing new was added to Liberty City but just different safe houses and other things. I won't go too much into the story just that you get a chance to try out new Multiplayer things and then getting new missions and even racing with bikes and using weapons to knock guys off almost like a game of Road Rash. Anyone remember that game?

The 2nd game is The Ballad of Gay Tony probably my favorite one but getting the trophies on this are a bitch! Thank god I was able to get my Platinum trophy for GTA IV a couple of weeks ago, probably one of my finest Platinum trophies that I've earned, very time consuming. But I think once I beat the game I will enjoy all the stuff that is unlocked such as the weapons and a great feature which was added just for this DLC the sky diving feature where you can jump off buildings and have a parachute to help your fall land safely instead of jumping to your death. With a great deal of new weapons, night clubs, and hot music this DLC makes the game even more enjoyable than IV.

I'm still playing the Gay Tony haven't finished it yet but stuff still applies when going for the trophies if you use cheats during missions none of the missions will register with the Rockstar Social server so that is a negative, though some people don't even use cheats, sometimes getting 100% on each mission can be a fucking BITCH to accomplish.

Now that GTA Liberty City has been done to the ground the future is only full of rumors that GTA V will be set in San Andreas or even in Vice City. To be honest I think San Andreas deserves to be remade, Vice City has already been done twice so give San Andreas some room to spread its wings on this next GTA V.

Borderlands - PlayStation 3

I never thought I would be playing an RPG with First-Person shooter elements. I found this game to be a great buy, also an easy Platinum if you have two or three friends to help you out with getting the trophy, it all comes down to leveling up reaching level 50. It has a few glitches here and there followed by a good amount of sound glitches. When you have someone with a headset in your online game they tend to lag and you can't understand a word they say.

I like the neat feature that ANYONE can join your game but if you set it to private then you should be able to invite your friends. I believe three people are needed in order to enjoy the game, if you have four though it tends to get a bit messy and like a friend told me the game can be quite competitive, just because the simple fact that there is very little ammo but if you have a Soldier Class there you can easily regain ammo with his special abilities.

If you are planning to play with a friend you better make sure you guys are at the same level if you have someone who is a higher level and you're playing their game then there is a huge chance you'll die faster and your weapons will not kill any monsters. But here is a tip if you decide to level up faster ask a friend who is a really high level to join their game so that way when they fight monsters your level goes up quicker so you can level up without killing any monsters. It's really easy and a much better way to complete the game. Though the game needs to be completed in order to do it by yourself.

All in all this game is decent but once you beat it, you better have a lot more money so you can purchase the DLC.

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas - PlayStation 2

Probably one of the best Grand Theft Auto games around, with its huge world and amazing 90's music this game delivers a great deal in a small PS2 disc. Though that's not to say GTA IV was a flop, it was just that San Andreas had so many things that you could do. I was so excited as hell when the game first came out, I actually happened to get it a day early than those who were waiting for their reserved copy at Gamestop.

When I first played the game I was really amazed at how the neighborhoods looked, the first area was vast expanding all the way through the country side, some of the cities in the game were pretty much carbon copies of the actual city like San Francisco, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

The game was visually amazing at the time as nobody could imagine that the game had a huge environment including the huge mountain on the first area called Mount Chiliad which is the best way to escape from the cops, also its fun to drive cars, bikes or tanks off the mountain and watch how far you're able to drive off it.

With its amazing Soundtrack they released a Box set just like they did with Vice City. It ranged from Country, Rap, R&B, Rock, and Reggae. Just like Vice City they brought back well known artists like Bobby Brown, Eddie Money, Rod Stewart, SWV, Soundgarden, Rick James, and Kool and The Gang.

Though the game spawn racial tension as most gamers already hated the whole black thing and the Boyz in the hood style storyline. It was something totally new for the GTA series.

I think what most gamers didn't like was the music as they mostly complained about how they hated the whole gangster rap type genre and wished that they brought back most of the music that was introduced on Vice City.

But...what young kiddies should understand is that's what the 90's were about especially on the West Coast, with the whole gang wars in Los Angeles so making a game in that era in that area was amazingly depicted in this game. So most young 14 year olds who play this game today will never be able to understand the era, just like how young kids didn't understand GTA Vice City's era with the clothing and the gay macho man look.

I'm glad that it got the scores that it received, I would imagine it would be game of the year as well because of how many people it attracted and how many people hated it because of the way GTA was going at the time. I would be so happy if they would make a GTA type game set in San Andreas because this would give the developers a new way of creating a realistic city on a next gen console.

Star Wars Battlefront - PlayStation 2

A classic game, not even sure if the online works on it still, last time I tried to go online with this game it asked me to save some kind of 1MB patch, sucks that the 8MB memory card can save so very little.

I actually bought this game used at Gamestop while in my stay in Oregon its a game I thought I should own since my older brother said no to letting me have his copy of the game so it was best to just have my own copy of the game, and then I made a backup of it so I can play the fuck out of my backup.

But anyways this game is a little different as compared to Battlefront II due to many reasons, they added some really cool things to the second one but when you go from the second game to the first game you tend to see what was added and what wasn't added to the second game such as the crawling on the floor, and you can't do the forward roll like you could on the second game.

But the graphics and pretty much some of the sounds transfer over the only thing I glad didn't return were the levels where you had to fight Gungans, hearing their voices are so god damn annoying especially when you are trying to attack one. "Oh no.. Wesa being attacked" Also the lack of playable Jedi and villains is what makes the first Battlefront a bit boring if you played the 2nd one but never had the chance to play the 1st game.

It might just be me but when I played I found it very annoying that whenever I tried to attack enemies my fucking team just goes right in front of my beams and kill themselves and thus giving me a negative kill for them being fucking stupid.

But I enjoy it, the game is really fun and I think that I'll never NEVER grow tired of Battlefront like I've grown tired of some of my PS2 games that I have. I think in time once they come out with a third Battlefront for the PS3 it will be more popular on the next gen console giving players new abilities yet giving them yet again more ways to find glitches and flaws to get wins online.

But hey thank god Gamestop is good for something having all these good games to buy, I wouldn't recommend trading in your games though because I seriously think they suck at it, and they rip you off. I'm surprised that this game is 17 dollars when I bought it at Gamestop in Oregon, even the other day I saw this very same game yet the case was in better condition at the local Gamestop.

This game is definitely a buy if you enjoyed the Star Wars series and have yet to play the Battlefront games.

Burnout Paradise - The Ultimate Box

Decided to purchase The Ultimate Box on PS Store, it was worth the download but the game ended up being 3GB I know that it would of been better to just buy it off Amazon and get the disc based content but I figured I did not want to even go and purchase the game used at some Gamespot or have to wait a week until this game came in the mail from Amazon.

I've played previous Burnout games and it seemed that the only thing they did not seem to have were downloadable content from PSN or Live. So when I purchased it I had no idea what I was expecting, with The Ultimate Box you get a ton of extra content including Cop Cars, Toy Cars, Legendary Cars, Motorcycles and a few Boost Cars along with that.

Also you can download extra things to it as well such as a Party Pack which allows up to 8 Players in Single mode do various types of activities such as Speed Runs, Stunt Jumps or other things that will help you out at parties.

Also for the PlayStation 3 this game has the most trophies that I've ever seen on any kind of game. I pretty much have about 98% of the trophies this is excluding the Island pack which hasn't been released yet as of May 22nd, 2009. Only three trophies left for this game for me to get 100% until the Island pack which will set me back to 90%. I need to purchase a PlayStation Eye camera so I could take a mug shot to someone on an online game and have to take a picture of every person on the Party Pack this will eventually give me the Platinum trophy making it number 3.

Now back to the game. It's visually nice graphic wise, the cars are awesome and the sound is amazing. The best part about this game is if you get tired of the shitty music you can play your own music on the game it's best to make your own Play list so you're playing the game without having to worry about not running out of music that you play from within the PS3 hard drive.

Each event is at each intersection on the game, you get tons of different events the more events you finish or win it helps you out with getting a certain Driver's License, once you reach your Burnout License you can continue on to get the Elite License but that does take a lot of hard work which I have yet to accomplish on the game.

If you get tired of driving cars you can drive the many cars that the game offers such as Bikes and DLC cars that you purchase from PSN Store. This game is amazing and now I know why they are keeping it alive with DLC because it helps make the game better and better. Lots of people play this online too, so if you ever want to go online to play you'll never get tired of playing with different people, just make sure you know how to accept the Freeburn or Timed Challenges that the host puts up in the Lobby.

One last thing a hint for anyone reading this up to this point. If you do want to get all the Trophies on the game it's best not to use the Bike, as it glitches TWO trophies that require you to get a Platinum Trophy, those are winning 10 Freeburn Challenges and winning 10 Timed Challenges, the game requires a car for you to get those two trophies by using the Bike you just fucked your game up as it causes some sort of glitch which it doesn't give you the trophy for Timed or Freeburn challenge no matter how many challenges you complete you will not get the trophy because of this Bike glitch, they still haven't fixed it.

Best solution is to back your game up on a USB Flash Drive and then delete your old game on the PS3 Hard drive have a friend help you out with getting the two trophies, once you get them you can go back to having your old saved game back onto your PS3 so it will go back to the way it was.

Grand Theft Auto IV - Revisited

This time I have a video to help out the weird game play that this game still possesses. I haven't really gone back to playing online because I figured a lot of people would already be on Level 10 and deadly assassins. I think if I kept on doing the one Co-Op mission Hang Man's NOOSE I would of reached level 10 but its OK as I have other games to play besides GTA IV, this game was really my first game on my PS3 and so I played it to death I would still find it fun to play with friends online but they seem to be busy with other things like getting Burnout Paradise Trophies and things.

I've been playing another game that has been winning me over in the action adventure genre, that would be Saints Row 2 I'll have to get a video up of that soon but the reason why GTA IV lacks so much as compared to SR2 is that there's not much CO-OP feel. You get a chance to have three missions but that's not a enough to make this game gold with me. If they added a way of playing CO-OP with a friend then the game would surpass Saints Row 2.

There are still plenty of things to do on GTA IV but it really weighs out with both games. GTA IV has all the eye candy type graphics that make the game beautiful visually but when it comes to features Saints Row 2 beats the game to a pulp. You can do so much on the game such as mini games which can be addicting and funny I know GTA IV tried to pass off as a real life type game by adding all these physics and car damage but I feel that more and more people are taking notice to the fun factor of Saints Row 2 and leaving offline of GTA IV, I only heard that GTA IV's online is a ghost town and hardly anyone on there.

I also feel that if they brought the DLC that 360 has to PS3 then it would be great to have, I kept hearing rumor that their liscense for the DLC will end in sometime and that if they wanted to keep those rights they had to pay more money for it. I'm pretty sure that is just bullshit from PS3 fanboys but if it is true I'll definitely try to see if I can purchase it, since I already purchased a shit load of stuff for Burnout Paradise and Singstar.

Bear Gamer Intro

Thought I would design a gamer bear Intro for my videos on my GamerBears account on YouTube, I will pretty much use this on all my videos excluding DreamcastLover, and VideoGamerJunkie. Beats of Rage, tons of people really wanted to see a Streets of Rage 4, but with the power of game design, and the ability to play burnt games on a Modded PS2 or a normal Dreamcast the ability to play this kind of game is not imaginary after all.

When I heard about this game Beats of Rage I had to search for it, since I knew Dreamcast would play burnt games without the use of a mod chip then I found this game and ended up downloading it.

The game looks just like Streets of Rage 2, even has some of the music tracks of the actual game, giving you a better remix with actual artists. The animation is amazing and it's a must download if you do have a Dreamcast lying around or even an emulator and a computer powerful enough to play it. (Kisses Dreamcast) I'll love it until it dies.

Though you could play this on a PS2 as well you might run into the problem of having to mod it first if you haven't already. I think it's good that the Dreamcast still lives on with it's amazing ability to play games then you can find those rare Dreamcast games that you've never even heard about, then your library just keeps growing and growing. Ugh! But anyways enough about Disney this is about Dance Dance Revolution 2nd Mix Dreamcast Edition, damn what a long ass name for a game but I guess just making it DDR 2nd Mix Dream Edition is nice and sweet. Even though I wasn't even sure if this game was released in U.S. I figured I would play the Japan version, though I did not have the Dance Pad it probably would of been harder than doing it on the Dreamcast controller.

I really loved this game but I know my fat bear ass would have a mini attack half way through the song, I remember playing DDR at some small local amusement park, it got me all hot and bothered not only was it on in the Arcade Room but just dancing made things so UGH! lol but seriously this is an awesome game and I just wish I could of been able to play more of these games and possibly own sing star but I would feel embarrassed to even sing in my own house with my parents wondering around.

Donald Duck - Quack Attack! - Sega Dreamcast

I figured not only would it be nice to show off new PS3 or Wii games I figured I would show some games back from the past. Those games that you never would imagined playing when you had the older generation of consoles.

Though it was released on PS2, N64 and the original PlayStation this game is a classic, it was indeed released on the Sega Dreamcast a console that was just starting out in the next generation of consoles, the video was faster and the graphics seemed to be up to par.

When playing it on the older generation N64 and PSOne you could certainly tell a big difference in gameplay and perhaps video. Since the PSOne was able to play FMV the N64 could not thus it relied on 3D cut scenes to achieve something that the PSOne and then later on the Dreamcast could do.

This is for the Sega Dreamcast by the way I'm not going to talk about the N64 or even the PS2 even though the PS2 did improve in video quality during cut scenes. I think this game was very underrated but it's not really fitting for the hardcore gamer, if any of you were lucky to play it on either gaming console then you'll know how great it was to play the full game and understand how it was to play a full 3D Disney Adventure game.

Resident Evil (Remake) - Nintendo Gamecube

The game that started it all but remade to fit the standards of Gamecube's graphics and sound. This is probably the best looking Resident Evil game of the last generation of consoles. Sadly this game never made it to PlayStation 2 but it was on the Gamecube a system I didn't think too much of but I had the honor of playing it back when it first came out.

The environment was extremely well detailed maybe a little more detailed as most of the Resident Evil games out there with little to no movements. This is no Resident Evil 4, the graphics pretty much stayed the same way as the original Resident Evil game but gave it quite an interesting upgrade when it came to how the zombies moved, looked and attacked.

With the additional storyline that adds to the game you find out more about what's going on in the Spencer Estate Mansion and you learn more about some of the monsters including Lisa Trevor an experiment gone wrong. You even come across more areas in the mansion that the original never showed, like being able to go outside the back of the mansion or into the deep spooky woods of Raccoon Forest to find a strange cottage home of Lisa Trevor.

What I found most interesting is how the voice acting still sucks in the game, they could of hired a better experienced voice actor and actresses to play the parts, Wesker never sounded so original in my life even though Richard Waugh was not the one playing him I felt Wesker was just some typical asshole who wanted to create the most powerful biological weapon. I don't get how Richard Waugh plays Wesker in Resident Evil Zero but then a completely terrible voice actor voices him in Remake.

Once you beat the game you get some pretty awesome guns, and cool features like Forest chasing you around or more like stalking you around the mansion and you can't shoot him or else he'll explode because he has grenades around him making it impossible to even touch him. Another great part was the addition of the best fucking zombie ever the Crimson Head. Even though they are zombies that regenerate after they've been killed by the player they surely make an interesting appearance when you come across their dead body again later on in the game and they awake but faster, stronger and more creepy looking.

If they ever decide to make a Resident Evil 2 Remake from the looks of it they already decided to make Darkside Chronicles it is most likely we won't be seeing a RE 2 Remake, but if they did the gameplay they should use is from RE Remake that way it will look just like the original Resident Evil 2 game but with updated graphics, also they need to seriously take out that bad ass Leon rendering because in Resident Evil 2 on PS1 Leon looked so original he looked like he gave a rat's ass about people, but if they decide to make the Leon in Darkside Chronicles like the Leon Kennedy in Degeneration all hope will be lost. Could you imagine Leon being like that in DC? Ada is there holding on to dear life and Leon stands there and says "Let go, you lied to me you stupid bitch, I could care less about you Ada"

Leon isn't even sexy anymore he's so bitter that he makes Simon Cowell look like a positive person. Ditch that Leon Degeneration attitude and he'll be a liked character again.

Endless Ocean

Ah Endless Ocean that game that I bought for 30 bucks off Amazon. It was a really nice game but I found myself being bored to death with it, not only was I bored because I was playing by myself but nobody has the fucking game! I came real close to finally playing with someone on GayGamer but then his interest died down when he forgot all about the whole offer we even exchanged Friend Codes and I went on the game and added him, I went diving leaving up my Gate so he can come on down to my boat but it never happened.

There you go some game play video of me playing the damn thing, I'm not sure if Gamespot has better quality than YouTube, well I have both tons of gameplay on both YouTube and Gamespot so let the good times roll!

The game is very relaxing if you're suffering from some kind of stress like if you don't want to go around killing people on Saint's Row 2 or GTA 4 but you just want to relax than putting on this game may help you out with the stresses of every day life. The fun part is if you have an SD card you can put a few MP3 songs onto it and listen to your own soundtrack, pretty nifty huh? They need to put this feature on more Wii games as it's always lovely to be diving into the ocean listening to your own favorite songs or even music from other games.

The graphics are pretty nice for a Wii title, even though you can probably complete the game within a few hours if you play it non stop and know where to go in the game you're able to discover so many new areas within the game and if you go so fast within the game you're bound to miss a few secret things left on the ground like treasures, also the underwater pen is very useful if you decide to find somebody online to play it with. I only managed to play with 1 person on this game, the lack of communication is what killed the online experience for me, at least a keyboard or even an upgrade of Wii Speak would of been a nice addtion for this game, but then again you might come across some pedophile out there to get a hold of kids just like Animal Crossing...

Older people need to realize the rating says "E for Everyone" if it was just for kids then it would of read 'KO- Kid's Only" bastards how dare they call gamers pedophiles if they happen to be over the age of 18 and enjoy a kids game like Rayman Raving Rabbids.

PlayStation Home

Well I never could understand why Home was so popular, but many people say it's great when interacting with other PS3 gamers and be able to interact with someone and make a new friend instead of having someone mysteriously adding you when you have no idea who the hell they are. I think that when it comes to PlayStation Home it indeed makes things easier for you to interact with a friend by text or by using voice chat which seems to only work now in private areas (Apartment, Summer House) the only draw back is that there are things on this game that probably not many people would risk paying for such as a Summer House.

If you managed to take part in the Beta testing when Home was originally released you'd be lucky to get a great deal of items including a Summer House and the ability to make a Free Club. But now they screwed over the people who made Free Clubs and now they deleted them, having the person pay at least 4.99 or I think 5.99 to create a new club which gives you 30 members max and a club house with useless shit including the big screen TV in front of the room which hopefully will be put to good use later on in the future.

Another thing that sucks are the young little kids who love to fuck around on there, going around saying "Fags" to people, well when you look at the homophobes their avatar looks like a bigger queen than yours which is stupid, the report function hardly works unless at least 5 other people report the same person, thus giving you a warning, if you get reported many times there will be an invisible mod wondering around checking activity in that server it being the Bowling Alley, or the Plaza.

You'll know when a mod is near because if you make any kind of offensive thing that violates the TOS they will warn you, and if they continue to warn you through text then they start telling you that banning you from PS Home ruins your PlayStation Network account as well which means you can't use the PlayStation Store or buy shit because you were banned from it. So the mods are indeed watching your every step except for Private areas, it has not been confirmed if they are indeed spying on you and your privacy but you can never know until it finally happens.

Last week there was a small little get together if any of you who are apart of any gay community and was invited to this little party on Home would of attended an amazing event, the only bad thing is that whenever you arrived in the Gamer's Lounge you'd either be sent to a different server or you would of been sent to the right server where all the gays were. I wish there was a higher population of Bears on this or else we would of been able to get around and huddle in our little bear group and show those skinny bitches how a chub or a bear dances.

I only managed to capture the after party of the server I was in, while there are other videos floating around YouTube of different times of the party. You might catch me dancing at the beginning of the video. Enjoy.

Now on to other things. The only thing I don't like is that they have a poor selection of facial features, they have a beard but it's not as great looking as an average beard you'd see on a bear that might look realistic. Sony definitely has no idea how a REAL beard is suppose to look like, also they have no idea what the hell a goatee looks like either as they only give you facial features of a half goatee, a little beck of hair on the bottom of your chin, and a few other features, but NOT a full on goatee. FAIL!

It just feels that Sony took out all the best parts of Home and gave us an unfinished game where it takes FOREVER to get into a game of Pool or a game of Bowling where people will continue to play forever and ever to where you can NEVER have the chance to play with your friends.

Also it seems Japan has the best shit on Home while North America gets crap items and features, Europe has better shit than North America as well as they had this small little mini event where they let you go on a Treasure Hunt for codes, the only thing we got was some shitty Red Bull thing where you fly planes to get better times than your friends. Let's just hope they add the stuff we want like the music and video why have a TV in the club house if all it's going to do is just sit there.

I thought Sony was smarter than that to work around the copyright issue.

Resident Evil 5 Demo - PlayStation 3

I was surprised at how well the game looks, 360 had it's demo out almost two weeks ago while the PS3 was just getting it last week.

The demo gives you two things areas to play with, it doesn't tell you the whole entire story just that you already met Sheva and that you're already fighting against the villagers who spot you in a house during a cut scene. I was amazed at the graphics and the way the controls feel, the only thing I don't like is the shooting, you have to completely stand still in order to shoot and you're basically having to turn your aim over slowly when he's trying to shoot enemies that might be at the corner of him.

With Sheva she can be some use and help when telling you that you have guys behind you ready to attack you, but then other times she can really get in the way especially when running from the enemy, she might get caught up with a boss slamming her against the ground with his weapon or even a villager grabbing her and screaming for your help. It's almost like having Ashley but this time she helps you fight off the plague.

Also the bad part is that your partner will waste a lot of ammo and if you are low on ammo yourself the only best solution is to give her your ammo and just stab villagers to death with your knife. Conserving ammo is probably the key to staying alive but then again with Resident Evil 5 you still don't get that survival horror feeling when playing through as you're basically playing through the day again just like in Resident Evil 4, I think most of the new comers to the Resident Evil series like the RE 4 gameplay so it was no brainer that Resident Evil 5 would basically be a carbon copy of RE 4 but with beautiful graphics and stronger enemies.

Thank god that this is in Dolby Digital 5.1, though I'm sure if I had 7.1 it would be in Dolby Digital 7.1 as well. I seriously need to upgrade but within time I'm sure that things will change for me and I'll be upgrading my entertainment setup.

Woof???? I would buy a 360 but seriously my friend's 360 died about four weeks ago to the Red Ring of Death, and I know Yellow Light of Death exists on PS3 but I'm rarely seeing people with this issue as compared to 360 owners.

I've gone on PlayStation Home and I've had a talk with my friend Jose who thinks that all the bears are hiding, I have no idea where he finds them but it's like every week I meet somebody who is a bear or a chub. It's nice to have him introduce me to people he meets on here but I must say that most of the bears I see on message boards such as GayGamer.net they all are highly active on Xbox Live, which makes me believe why do bears prefer Live over PSN, is it because you pay for the membership, the games, they have more RPG games on 360 than PS3 but man give me a break PS3 is also fun too and with Home you're able to be apart of a digital online community where you can communicate through voice chat and text and play games with others and check out their apartment that they created.

It's like going into someone's house sitting down and talking to them about something. Calling all Gamer Bears where in the hell are you guys at?

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://beargamer.blogspot.com/2009/01/woof-hello-where-are-bears.html' title='Woof???? The game sounds really nice especially when listening to music so you're not bothered by having to listen to the music coming from the back speakers and only on the front two speakers.

Some of the dialogue comes through the center channel mainly the cut scenes and characters that Niko calls on his cell phone but never Niko, he's played on the side speakers.

Anyways the sound is simply amazing just wish that it was louder so I didn't have to turn raise my volume up high but turn it down low when I fire a pistol or use an Assault Rifle. The graphics are great too but I wonder why the frames are so low when you speed up in a car. Not sure how the 360 version is but I've seen that it plays rather fast with frames per second. The game has only frozen on me once during a mission trying to save Roman from a factory, it kept sticking to the Loading screen for a good two minutes until I had to turn off the system.

I've also talked to one fellow bear gamer and he has the game but it just seems GTA 4 is not on everyone's gaming lists I wonder why, I've always been a fan of GTA series and I thought GTA 4 was really nice with the graphics and the realistic realism in the game like crashing your car and flying through the window or the helicopters basically losing their perpellers when they hit against a building or the ground.

I sort of like the police system but when you're in a high populated area like the second island it becomes harder to lose the police because it seems there are police on ground or on car that will locate you and thus restarting the big circle around your character.

The addition of trophies for the PS3 is nice but sadly I didn't make it in time to get the Liberty Minute Trophy as I fucked around too much and beat the game just last night, so now all I have to do are the stunts, the hidden packages which I finally figured out were the pigeons that you have to kill in certain areas of the city, about 200 hidden packages that is a lot of shit to be honest.

I don't have any videos to show you due to limited time of being busy, but I did record video but I find it time consuming to take it through Sony Vegas and then upload it to YouTube without having to deal with those errors like the video is too big or the video isn't right for YouTube, and since they have the whole copyright shit recording the game and having the music on the game might piss off record labels and cut my video because they heard Heart's Straight On and tell me I have to replace my audio with the song or delete the video. Fuckers....

But back to the game, the only serious frame drops I've experienced was when playing Free Mode on a game we went passed this factory I think it was where the pipes with fire coming out of it, all of a sudden our helicopter went out of control and we fell into the furnice and shit went down to 5 frames per second possibly 10 frames per second it was insane and it stayed like that until I died. I had to kill myself because it was that bad.

With about 20 minutes of figuring out about the mulitiplayer mode we had to use MAX amount of players so whoever I invite in the game would get invited when we start it and nobody else could join the game which was nice. It helps a lot when you just want to play with your friends on Free Mode. I just wish they had cops on Party Mode but I would understand why they don't have cops on it because you can go on a killing spree and not get killed by the cops.

It will take a while for me to get good on the deathmatches online as it seems people are extremely skilled and they can kill you with one bullet when they shoot at you, told to aim for the head and it makes it easier to kill your enemy, I do that but it's incredibly impossible to achieve.

Only beef I have with PS3 and GTA 4 is that they didn't put in game music which sucks because they let 360 freely do this, but then I read somewhere on a message board that only Microsoft has this ability and no other system. Well I guess that sucks, just wish Microsoft would stop giving head to all these gaming companies like Capcom, releasing RE5 early on 360 and we have to wait a week until it comes out on PS3. Such bullshit or even the downloadable game for GTA 4 Lost and Damned. PS3 will never see that ever, I will not buy a 360 just to play that game. I already sold my soul to Microsoft once with Vista, I refuse to do it with 360.

Bear Rant Friday

I always thought that there would be things that just piss me off about something. I love video games, I love the systems I get too but one system that just pisses me off is Nintendo Wii, it lacks so much with it's hardware but usually what it lacks in, makes up for it with games and the Nintendo Shop Channel. I love the use of the SD card features but there are times when you just get tired of having to move channels on and off the card which is annoying because you can't seem to play the games off the SD card which would be a huge plus with a Nintendo Update.

The graphics seem to be sort of ok with some games like Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. Brawl it seems that the graphics look promising, but lately you've seen so many lazy developers out there making crappy third party games which makes the Wii seem like just a regular kiddy system with the games that come out every month. Some of those graphics are so bad they look like a good PlayStation game.

Like I mention earlier in a previous blog spot I said that Nintendo has no idea what a community is. Even though they seem to be understanding it some what with Animal Crossing: City Folk it still requires that you use the Friend Code. Some people "LOVE" the friend code because it's the game's own unique code generated JUST for you. It gets annoying having to gather up all these friend codes when it would be so much better to just have one damn code so you can just add it once and not have to worry about it instead of having tons fucking codes to shift through and wonder "Wait a minute I added a friend code but I have no fucking idea who it is."

If Nintendo just got their act together when releasing this system, also if they understood with using Nintendo Shop Channel and the system only has what 512MB of system memory, they should of known that sooner or later that the SD cards and the damn internal memory wouldn't be enough to keep all those games organized. Also buying another SD card is not going to slow my problem that I have so many Virtual Console and WiiWare games. Nintendo yet again is fucking our asses with more accessories we have to buy in the future. Watch Nintendo release only a 4GB storage drive something so cheaply made that it's annoying to even buy a 4GB storage drive for 120 dollars. Rip off. Nintendo is so fucking lame sometimes, I just wish they treated their customers with a little more importance.

FINALLY!

Now I can enjoy the experience of Next Gen consoles with the PS3. Don't get me wrong I love my Wii but the system is missing quite a lot. "Community" it seems Nintendo has no idea what that word means or how to incorporate it into it's new system. I think I should start something every Friday called "Bear Rant Fridays" where I rant about something in video games or stuff in general.

I got a PS3 for Christmas and only 1 game, I do plan to get more games for the PS3 because those demo downloads just don't cut it sometimes. Sadly from what I heard which confused me a great deal is stuff about the Core system and a different type of system, since this is the 80GB system, my friend told me to get the one with the Media Card slots, I couldn't really tell or even go talk to my Father about this issue since I have no idea how you would approach a store employee, I want the PS3 with the Metal like plastic with the Media Card stuff.

So when I opened it up and seen that it didn't have all that I was like "Fuck" but it's ok since I don't need an SD Card slot. It still has Ethernet port which is great since using the Wi-Fi connection seems to pump less Internet out of your system, with an Ethernet you get full speed from what I've seen with most connections. Though I don't have the fastest Internet running at home it usually takes an hour or so to download the huge demos.

I suppose the new 80GB doesn't have Backwards Compatilbity either which is ok because I'm guessing PS2 Emulation looks like shit which is why I left my PS2 there so when I get bored I can go back to playing my PS2. I seen that it plays PS1 games but the games look so pixalted and the screen moves a bit which makes the emulation TERRIBLE. I thought Sony would of learned by now that if you make perfect emulation for both three consoles the PS3 would be a smash hit with gamers thus sell more systems than 360. I must say the PS2 was a huge success in the gaming world towards it's release date and now because it's still selling systems and still selling games from what I hear.

This is the new home for my Dreamcast,

not sure where else to put it since my entire entertainment center is filled up with different types of shit, games, huge carrying cases for CD's and DVD's, the DVD collection. This is an older picture so ignore where the position of the Dreamcast is and the missing PS3.

So pretty much there is no other place to put my stuff at unless I throw some shit out, also my TV is already giving me a small amount of problems, I have a line on the upper left hand corner of the screen so that probably means my TV is almost going to be dying soon which sucks since new TV's cost a shit load of money. But now that I'm finally experiencing what the PS3 has to offer I'm really really loving it.

Star Wars Battlefront II

I had this game for a while now, I'm surprised that it's still online as most games as old as Battlefront II are now offline and have no more online play for players.

The graphics are really good, though PC can come out with amazing graphics and tons of mods and new things for the game. The PS2 version is still going strong, but it looks like the Xbox version of the game has already stopped it's last breathe with online play.

When you're playing online the game can get real challenging as it seems that everyone online is really good and you can't out smart anyone on the game as they will destroy your land mines and they will shoot you and know your tactics of trying to dodge their blasters or rockets.

If you have the PS2 headset you can easily hook it up through the USB port of your PS2 and hear your teammates and enemies speak. Though I've usually come across mostly hearing 13 year old kids it tends to get annoying hearing them using the homophobic slurs and the racist remarks to describe someone. This is pretty much no different from the type of things you'd hear from XBOX Live but it tends to feel that the kids act like kids on PS2 and the adults act like kids on XBOX Live.

With the use of Dobly Pro Logic II it helps the game sound twice as better with a Surround Sound System while you're playing online or playing single player mode.

Sometimes playing online can get very annoying at times when there are players who piss you off. Due to the server not having an update players have found ways of glitching in the game by putting things in corners to help them wall glitch while others find corners where you can use a rocket trooper to use their flying ability to go through ceilings and shoot any enemies through the wall. Some of the servers crack down on cheaters and glitchers while the official servers don't have this sort of rule so people can glitch all they want but it does piss off other people playing online.

The game is really good and not quite sure if they are still selling the game but right now it's the best Star Wars online game going right now as the other Star Wars games don't have online functionality.

Resident Evil Outbreak - PS2

This was probably the best online game I've played on the PS2. The gameplay and the four player action made up for the lag that you get when playing online. During this time I didn't have broadband connection so my only chance was to play offline with the one player. Once I got broadband I went online and started to play online.

The best thing about this is having friends you could go on with and play online. I met a few other people as well including a fellow Bear Gamer who I played with on Outbreak File 2. I do believe that RE Outbreak was probably the best outbreak because it had so much you could do plus the areas were really big compared to most of the levels of RE Outbreak File 2.

The game let you choose from 8 players each with their own ability to do something in the game which helped others get through some obstacles or certain items or unlock doors faster than shoulder tackling the door open.

My favorite character is possibly Yoko as she carries an extra four more slots than most of the other players, but with that advantage comes disadvantage as Yoko runs slower and takes damage three times as much as the rest of the characters. She does have a evade tactic which helps from dodging zombie attacks and from evading zombies on danger. Here are a few videos of me playing online.

<a style="left: 340.983px ! They took out the character voices, developers thought that it would offend parents hearing Jim say "Fuck that shit" even though they shouldn't be buying their 14 year old Outbreak in the first place as it has a rating M which is not suitable for kids under 17 years old.

After about a year of the game being online Capcom finally took it down because they felt that not a lot of people played online but they were so wrong as there was still a huge community of gamers still playing online. With them shutting down File 2 it was only a matter of time when the first Outbreak game would see the same fate. A couple of months later they finally closed down Outbreak leaving Resident Evil fans speechless and angry, I was one of those fans as I knew that RE Outbreak was still a good game and I enjoyed playing it online it was the main reason why I bought the PS2 Network Adapter but now that it's offline I had to soon wait and play another game online.

I hear people saying that with PS3 and 360's Resident Evil 5 that you and a friend can play online, this might help a huge amount for any new Resident Evil fans who want to have a second chance of playing online with someone else. I can't wait for RE5 to come out.

Star Wars The Force Unleashed - Wii

It was really difficult for me to buy this game from Wal Mart, I had the money and felt that with 50 dollars what could go wrong. Well I enjoyed the game and the excellent use of the Wii Remote.

I was impressed with how the graphics looked, considering that they might almost be the same as compared to the PS2 version of the game. I enjoyed it being in Dolby Pro Logic II which gives the game amazing sound since there are things behind you that will trigger the back speakers.

What I really liked is that the enemies tend to talk shit or try to say something slick like "Bad Move Jedi!" the Star Wars games have really improved and since I don't have the 360 or PS3 version of this I can't really tell you how great those graphics really are on the system. The voice acting is somewhat OK the storyline is indeed good to watch as it tells the story of Darth Vader's secret apprentice.

I like the fact that you can choose an ending. I haven't played that Clone Wars game either on the Wii but I'm so glad that they have it only for the Wii so us Nintendo gamers can praise with cheer.

Only beef I had with this game is that I wish it had WIFI Connection for the Wii version so you could fight friends in battle or fight other people. Though someone once said in the Gaygamer.net said that it's not a classic game unless it's open source or modded. I've seen people able to add modded things to the game and I'm sure anyone can design stuff for it they just need to have the knowledge of coding and design of elements on the game.

The soundtrack for this game is really nice as they had it somewhere on a website to download the music from the game, there were a few cheats within the game to unlock various different cars and even give the Police, Spanish, French or German language when they are screaming and yelling at you to stop. The reason why I found this game to being classic is because it sparks so much good sequels for the Need For Speed Trilogy which a couple of years later sparked an amazing sequel to Hot Pursuit. Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 which was for the PS2, Xbox, and PC this game was amazing for it's time when it first hit the last generation of game consoles.

I even had a great pleasure of doing some game play video of it when I posted it on my YouTube account. It got a lot of views and the graphics, music and sound improved a great deal from the PlayStation One days.

Pretty much the games came and went, I think there were good Need For Speed games after that but after Most Wanted the game sort of turned in the wrong direction and seems to be keeping that way, I haven't played the new game Undercover yet but I assume it might just end up being just like Need For Speed Carbon where you have this hot looking chick and she tells you some bullshit story about you getting fucked over by the cops. That's why I always say you can never beat the classic games that use to come out for the older consoles like Nintendo (NES), Sega Genesis, and Super Nintendo.

First Post

Well hopefully I can make this blog into some good posting about stuff I play and a few things about my gaming life. I figured that since I haven't been real active in the whole bear community I should at least show my love for the gaming world. Probably post some game reviews from classic games to new games and try to put in the whole bear mix of gaming.

Hopefully you guys like my blog to whoever ends up visiting this blog. :) Enjoy
